Dan Stehn is an expert in the packaging of injectables. He has spent the past 23 years in Business Development roles for contract service providers supporting Life Science organizations. He joined Sharp Packaging Solutions (United Drug plc) in 2008 as Director of Injectable Packaging where he is responsible for directing Sharp’s Injectable services platform, providing custom assembly and secondary packaging solutions for vials, pre-filled syringes and injectable devices.
Though some of his responsibilities during his career have been with large Pharmaceutical accounts, most of his focus has been with drug development/virtual organizations whose business models are based on the outsourcing of their commercial packaging presentations. Mr. Stehn has directed and participated in over 20 FDA product launches on behalf of his clients. For many of them, these would have been their first commercial product introduction and in almost all cases, delivered under extreme deadline. Mr. Stehn has a BS in Packaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and is also on the Editorial Advisory Board for Contract Pharma Magazine.
With vast experience in multiple packaging formats, Sharp specialize in the secondary packaging of injectables.
