COVID-19 response: Updated on April, 2nd 2020
At Sharp, we continue to monitor closely the evolving COVID-19 situation and the impact this is having on our employees, our clients and how we operate our facilities.
The health and safety of our employees is our absolute priority. Where possible we have advised colleagues to work remotely from home. For those working at our facilities, we have introduced additional health and safety procedures to help protect them and ensure we can continue to deliver our services for our clients.
As the outbreak continues, our focus continues to be on the safety and well-being of our colleagues, clients, families and friends. Like many industry partners across the globe, we are experiencing reductions in workforce. I want to assure you that we continue to focus on managing our production schedules, prioritizing medically critical products and balancing our workforce to ensure minimal impact on our clients, while ensuring the safety of our employees. Should we experience a temporary impact on production, we will notify our affected clients as soon as possible.
We would appeal for your patience and your partnership, as we try to navigate this challenge together. We need to do everything we can to safeguard the health and safety of our employees so that they can continue their vital work in order to keep production running at Sharp.
