Steve Jacobs – Founder & President, Global BioPharm Solutions
Steve Jacobs, R.Ph., is the President of Global BioPharm Solutions and a veteran executive with 30+ years of experience in clinical supply chain and global logistics. He is a trainer and consultant, on both the R&D supply chain and commercial operations enhancement, to Biotech and Pharmaceutical organizations worldwide. Steve previously led clinical operations for Johnson & Johnson. He currently serves on the Board of the Global Clinical Supplies Group (GCSG), specializing in operational excellence and high-performing team leadership.
Joidy Fermin – Director, Clinical Supply Operations
Joidy Fermin is the Director of Clinical Supply Operations with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career as a law firm paralegal before transitioning into pharmaceuticals through Blis-tech, where he held roles in Quality Assurance, Technical Design, Project Management, Distribution, and Contracts Management.
Following that experience, he established a consulting role at Jeiven Pharmaceutical Consulting, overseeing a project management group for three years. Joidy has since spent more than 20 years with the Otsuka organization, where he currently oversees global clinical supply operations supporting packaging, labeling, and logistics. He also directs RTSM/IRT and integration programs focused on seamless systems and efficient clinical trial management.
David Upchurch – VP, Manufacturing, Corcept Therapeutics
David Upchurch has 35 years of industry experience, including clinical and commercial drug substance and drug product supply, management of clinical materials packaging, labeling, and distribution, and quality assurance oversight. David has been involved in late-stage clinical and commercial materials production and distribution for over 15 drugs, including the recent launch of LifyorliTM.
